In our book, blonder is always better. The whole forest of light woods (birch, maple, ash, and the beloved pine of our early decorating days) is having a real renaissance. A series of blonde moments if you will. This time around, the pieces go beyond the usual Ikea or Scandi inspo to cover a range of moods—mid-mod sideboards, California-cool consoles, refined rattan beds and Shaker-worthy benches. The fair-haired finishes are subtle, soft, forgiving. And best of all, these warm woods have a knack for slipping into and refreshing any room they find themselves in.
